The DUSTER G406 fan housing has two direct side outlets that split the powder in equal shares to the left and right. A single pass therefore treats the stand on both sides — with a reach of 10 to 12 metres and even coverage of the leaf area.
SIRIUS
A trace-element fertiliser supporting photosynthesis and growth that activates plants' immune responses and increases their resistance to abiotic and biotic stress. In powder form we apply it with the DUSTER directly into the stand.
The base of the product is a tribomechanically treated silicate rock with an admixture of marine limestone. Both primary and secondary effects come fully into play precisely when applied in dry, powder form — using tractor-mounted DUSTERS.
Control of the grapevine flavescence dorée vector
Especially suitable as an ecological means to control the population density of the vector (leafhopper Scaphoideus titanus), above all in hard-to-reach stands of neglected vineyards.
Support for photosynthesis and growth

The DUSTER G406 reliably applies various dusting products — from classic sulphur, bentonite and kaolin to the SIRIUS fertiliser. We carry out the service in vineyards, orchards, forest stands and on field crops.
Vineyards
- Grapevine flavescence dorée — SIRIUS as an ecological tool to control the vector population (Scaphoideus titanus), even in hard-to-reach stands
- Grapevine powdery mildew (Erysiphe necator) — preventive protection with powdered sulphur
- Botrytis, grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) — combined with bentonite or zeolite to dry out the microclimate in the cluster
- Fruit sunscald — a protective mineral kaolin film against sunburn
Orchards and nuts
- SIRIUS foliar nutrition — a rate of 50 kg/ha to support the vitality and resistance of the planting
- Powdery mildew (Podosphaera, Erysiphe spp.) — preventive treatment with powdered sulphur
- Fruit flies (Rhagoletis spp.) — kaolin/bentonite as a barrier against egg-laying and against fruit sunscald
Forest stands and fields
- Ecological care of forest stands — SIRIUS at a rate of 75 kg/ha
- Vegetables — fruiting, root and bulb crops, potatoes; 30–40 kg/ha
- Field crops — 40–55 kg/ha depending on sowing density and stand height

Agitator
Mechanical, alloy, located inside the powder hopper.
Gearbox
Cast aluminium with hardened helical bevel gears in an oil bath, direct drive. For a full gear warranty a PTO shaft with a safety clutch is used.
Fan and conveyor
Dynamically balanced steel with closed shaped blades; a cast-aluminium housing with two direct side outlets split in equal shares.
Diffusers and frame
Adjustable “fishtail” polyethylene diffusers with a swinging chain to prevent breakage; a painted supporting frame with a 3‑point linkage.
